Description
- Manage and grow a portfolio of industrial clients in Mexico, focusing on base oils and liquid chemical solutions.
- Execute consultative sales strategies to identify customer needs and offer tailored technical solutions.
- Build long-term business relationships through regular client visits and technical-commercial support.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and margins, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and client activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and supply chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date records using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and report regularly to senior leadership.
- Travel frequently across Mexico to visit clients and attend industry-related events or meetings.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical-commercial field.
- Proven experience in consultative sales of liquid chemicals, lubricants, solvents, or hydrocarbons.
- Strong technical understanding of base oils and their applications in industrial processes.
- Familiarity with the industrial market in Mexico, especially high-volume B2B environments.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- High level of empathy, adaptability, and continuous learning in technical subjects.
- Advanced English proficiency for internal communication and reporting.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Mexico.
