ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of IT Function.

The role is responsible for ensuring our Salesforce applications (Force.com, Communities, B2B Commerce, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) are designed, developed, deployed and maintained effectively.

Reports to: Snr Design Authority

Reporting Level: Managerial

Geographic Scope: Global

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Working with partner teams on new changes, from initial interaction with markets during the requirements discovery phase through implementation, deployment of the completed changes and working with the Support team as part of maintenance.
• Performing impact assessments (both functional and technical aspects) and providing decisions during Change Advisory Board meetings for changes to be implemented.
• Making sure the solutions deployed are robust and future proof.
• Leading technical investigations with the Support team on critical Salesforce issues.
• Reviewing releases from Salesforce and evaluating the impact on the BAT Salesforce ecosystem.
• Maintaining and overseeing governance.
• Access and security management.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder (Developer)
• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Practical knowledge of Agile and DevOps
• 4+ years in Salesforce Technical Architect and Salesforce Platform Architect roles
• Salesforce Admin experience (permission sets, profile management etc.)
• Salesforce Commerce & Service Cloud experience
• Salesforce APIs, SOQL, Reports and Metadata
• Operating in a Large Enterprise with several Salesforce Orgs and Integration with other Applications
• Salesforce Security - Identity, Roles, Profiles and Sharing

BENEFICIAL

• Development in APEX classes, Visualforce, Lightning, Powershell, Java, SQL (Postgress), etc.
• Experience in Microsoft InTune or Android Enterprise
• Azure, Microservices and Power BI
• Consumer Goods Domain Experience
• Heroku
• ITIL v4
