Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced UI Developer to join our growing team working on Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically on the Oracle OS Management Hub, a cloud-native service for managing enterprise OS environments across on-prem, OCI, and third-party cloud platforms.

This role combines the technical depth of modern frontend/UI development with the scale and impact of cloud-based enterprise software. You'll be part of a collaborative and diverse engineering team building intuitive, scalable interfaces and seamless user experiences for managing Linux and Windows environments in the cloud.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement modern, responsive UIs for OS Management Hub using contemporary frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams to build cohesive features and workflows.
• Translate complex system and infrastructure interactions into clean, efficient user interfaces.
• Ensure pixel-perfect design implementation and maintain accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
• Build reusable components, contribute to design systems, and participate in development discussions.
• Drive feature development from concept through delivery, including testing and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of UI best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI development across new and existing features for OS Management Hub.
• Build scalable and maintainable UI components in frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Write automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) for UI features.
• Triage and resolve UI bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate across distributed teams and time zones effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional UI/front-end development experience.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), and UI performance optimization.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous workflows.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD workflows; bonus for knowledge of Terraform or deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in Linux systems (Oracle Linux, RHEL) and basic OS-level concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell) is a plus.
• Passion for clean, accessible, and user-friendly design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical ideas to cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based service UIs or infrastructure dashboards.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and backend/frontend integration.
• Contributions to open source or UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in globally distributed teams.
