Job Summary
The Technical Lead role is pivotal in driving technical excellence within our hybrid work model. With a focus on IBM Mainframe Utilities CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol the candidate will leverage their extensive experience to optimize systems and processes. This position requires a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 14 years of relevant experience ensuring robust solutions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of complex systems using IBM Mainframe Utilities ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Oversee the development and maintenance of applications utilizing CICS VSAM JCL and DB2 contributing to seamless business operations.
Provide technical expertise in Cobol programming enhancing application functionality and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges driving continuous improvement.
Develop and enforce best practices for system architecture and coding standards promoting quality and efficiency.
Mentor junior developers fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Analyze system requirements and design solutions that meet business needs while optimizing resource utilization.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement enhancements ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
Implement security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality safeguarding company assets.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends integrating innovative solutions into existing systems.
Qualifications
Possess a deep understanding of IBM Mainframe Utilities and their application in business processes.
Demonstrate proficiency in CICS VSAM JCL and DB2 with a track record of successful project delivery.
Exhibit strong Cobol programming skills capable of developing and maintaining robust applications.
Have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Show experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers enhancing team capabilities.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies.
