You Are:

UST is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our growing dynamic team! In this role, the RoR Developer will develop applications that make our company succeed. The ideal candidate will have both experience building web applications and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.

The Opportunity:

• Design enterprise-level, high-availability Ruby-on-Rails applications
• Build technical solutions to support the offline side of our business.
• Work closely with stakeholders to discover requirements and implement user-friendly solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing web applications
• Suggest and implement improvements in our current applications.
• Write clear, secure, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

• 7+ years of overall software development experience, preferably secure, scalable web applications in Ruby on Rails
• Expertise with Ruby on Rail architecture, cross-platform integration, and building scalable applications.
• Experience in client-side coding using Typescript, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Knowledge of User Experience design methodologies a plus
• Working Knowledge of the full SDLC.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills with a solid analytical and statistical background.
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Technology preferred
