Cloud Ops Platform Team (Otto)
Who You Are:

You are Enthusiastic to learn and improve product, scalability and availability. You have expertise in getting smooth flow of CI-CD pipelines and manage production systems.
Responsibilities
• Provide day to day operational support for a large compute environment
• Develop new user-facing features
• Develop API's for consumption within UI frameworks
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Create automated unit and functional tests
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Scrum management
• Part of weekend coverage / rotation / (Saturday and Sunday)
Skills and Qualifications
• Experience with Linux
• Experience in: front-end development, back-end development and cloud infrastructure automation
• Proficient in Python for back-end development
• Experience in cloud technologies
• Clear understanding of web technologies like Oracle Jet, AngularJS, Web Services, REST API's
• Good understanding of database languages such as SQL and PL/SQL
• Basic understanding of Oracle RDBMS and MySQL
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, multi-threading and multiprocessing
• Good understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial or Subversion
• Good understanding of Agile software development principles including using common tools such as JIRA
• Terraform
• DevOps experience a plus
• Knowledge of Ansible is a plus
Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of development experience and Linux administration
• Experience with Development Operations
• The work can be demanding at times, particularly as deadlines approach, when extra hours may be required based on the candidate's effective deliverable capacities.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
