Job Description
HiL (Hardware In the Loop) Engineer Ford Champ is responsible for the development of test specifications, test environment requirements, executing test cases, evaluation, logging and reporting of test results using test management and monitoring tools. HiL (Hardware In the Loop) Engineer Ford Champ is also responsible for communicating and coordinating with function owners to develop a strong understanding of the functions and provide the necessary evidence to support evaluations, enabling teamwork to bring incidents to closure.
Responsibilities
• Assist in test analysis and design using test design techniques.
• Candidate must be on site at least twice per week for activities.
• Support in identifying test environment requirements.
• Participate in test implementation and execution.
• Contribute to managing test incidents.
• Report progress against assigned tasks.
• Support in defining testing goals and establishing performance indicators.
• Assist in the development and implementation of test plans.
• Monitor test progress and product quality against plan and expectations.
Qualifications
• Engineering Degree in progress, active student from any of the last 4 semesters
of Electrical, Electronic, Systems, Mechanical - Electrical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical,
Engineering
• Basic knowledge of testing techniques and test plans
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
• Ability to communicate and interact with others in cross-function team environment.
• General knowledge of vehicle functions, electronic and/or vehicle systems
• Knowledge of automotive industry environment, working experience preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication, time/program management and presentation
skills.
• Electrical-mechanical background as the commodities they will use have electrical and
mechanical interfaces.
• Attitude to learn and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of electrical Subsystem Design Specifications
