We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Design Release Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design release process, ensuring quality, compliance with standards, and production efficiency for Body components, including closures, exterior trim, stamped components and lighting. This role involves the use of design software like NX to perform design and release tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field.

• Basic understanding of automotive closure systems or Body components.

• Proficiency in CAD software (such as CATIA, NX, or Creo) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to support the design and development of automotive closure systems, body in white, vision system, bumpers and fascia.

• Assist in the analysis and testing of closures to ensure performance and durability.

• Contribute to the resolution of manufacturing issues and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support the creation of engineering drawings and specifications for components.

• Participate in design reviews and provide input for design optimization.

• Coordinate prototype builds and validation testing as needed.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to body components.
