Job Description

• New equipment and process acquisition and star ups as assigned (sample builds, pre-PV, PV and SOP)
• Learn and introduce new process/new technologies in the assigned area (Able to research and learn by itself)
• Responsible to apply the BOSCH corporate policies.
• Responsible on the implementation and creation of process parameter and relative change
• Responsible to create preventive and predictive maintenance instructions according to Bosch standards.
• Responsible to create flow diagrams and process manufacturing diagrams to understand the assigned products.
• Responsible on process improvement project on process that are out of goal on technical down time, rejects and scrap.
• Support, guide and give training and tools to the mechanical technicians group.
• Define, buy and maintain spare parts on tool crib, define minimum and maximum stock needed in tool crib.
• Implementation of assigned organizational initiatives (TPM, DRS, tooling Kanban, etc), according with BOSCH standards.
• Support Quality, Environmental and Safety Plant goals
• Ensure compliance down time goals and maintain trends.
• Does the responsibility of the associate know and apply the EHS Policies, having, but limited to the following responsibilities:
  • Fulfill the legal and corporate requirements and regulations applicable.
  • Fulfill the safety procedures applicable to his/her area.
  • Will be responsible that the Outsourced personnel under his/her responsibility fulfill the internal regulations.
  • Actively participate in the trainings and tests that may be schedule in accordance to the level of risks of his/her job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in a manufacturing-oriented organization, utilizing skills in project management, organizing and working in functional teams.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts, SPC Techniques and application of problem-solving tools in a production environment.
• Working knowledge in the following software: Solid works, AutoCAD, and MS project.
• Basic knowledge in pneumatic and electrical components and circuit design.
• Able to work with control systems, including PLCs and data network interfaces.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced English
