Job Description:

Analyze, improve and monitor the different processes of the organization seeking to increase Productivity, improve Quality, reduce scrap and delivery time.

• Compares plans, specifications, Quality requirements, customer requirements and work instructions against what is actually done on the production floor and based on this, prepares a diagnosis to propose improvements.
• Document changes, improvements and criteria in processes in writing involving Engineering, Quality and Production.
• Using statistical and other tools, present and develop all the changes and improvements required to meet and improve Production indicators.
• Prepares reports, studies and graphs that are used at the management level for correct decision making. Always seeking that these decisions are based on data collected when analyzing the different processes.
• Process improvement through lean tools such as 5's, SMED's, KANBAN's, TPM's, etc.
• Leads, supports and monitors Kaizen events.
• Process transfer.
• Gets involved in the process on the floor to create and design fixtures to improve the process, once created they are monitored and applied.
• Monitoring of production indicators.
• All its activities are governed by our Quality policies. Both at the local and corporate level.

Job Requirements:

• Professional Preferred Mechanical, Mechatronic and/or Industrial Engineer.
• At least knowledge of process improvement and route changes.
• Basic knowledge in metal mechanical processes.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience in SIX-SIGMA is desirable.
• Desirable handling of Software: Cad Key, Solid Works Desirable fixture design.
• At least 2 years experience in lean manufacturing environments.
• English (85%)
