As a Technical Sales Representative you will develop and increase our customer base and sales of emulsions and resins, based on the assigned area, providing technical and commercial support to the corresponding customer and prospect areas. You will develop account plans, prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports following the plan.
The Sales representative role typically reports to a National Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities and structured account plans based on the area's commercial strategy to increase sales and profits in the PPG AP Resinas third-party market.
- Provide technical and commercial support to the client or prospect in the assigned area, with the goal of developing new business and sales growth focused on meeting our profitability goals.
- Conduct prospecting for potential markets and clients with a strategic focus on increasing sales.
- Develop commercial and technical relationships with clients and prospects through visits, meetings, expos, fairs., with the goal of expanding our business opportunity areas.
- Negotiate prices, sales terms, credit days, and other commercial terms with the goal of developing long-term business relationships and partners.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Sales experience
- Knowledge of emulsions and polymers
- Negotiation skills
- Advanced English level
