The Marketing Intern responsible for Wiring Devices shall assist the Offer Manager with the auditing, correction, and improvement of customer facing and sales support documents related to Square D X Series Wiring devices offer.

During her/his tenure, the Marketing Intern will be responsible for auditing compliance to Schneider Electric standards and driving improvement to the Digital Marketing Assets that support the sale of Square D X Series Wiring devices. This will include:

• the review and improvement of Wiring Devices web pages, to assure that keywords, descriptions, technical information, FAQ's answers, and related documents are accurate and appropriate

• the review and improvement of relevant technical publications, including the Wiring Devices Catalog and Digest

• working with customer care center, engineering, sales, and technical publications personnel to assure that relevant documents and images are associated with Wiring Devices web page

• present his/her work to other areas of the organization upon request

Under general guidance of Offer Manager and Offer Architect, the Marketing Intern will be responsible for conducting a competitive comparison of some Wiring Devices sold in the USA and Canada. This will include:

• a comparison of available features (technical, commercial, aesthetics) and their benefits for selection, installation, and performance

• published price information

• a geographic analysis of US market share, with a focus on relevant feature

The Marketing Intern will assist the Offer Manager in other responsibilities including:

• pricing optimization reviews by geography, sales channel, or market segment

• preparation and justification of new product request

• offer optimization and rationalization analysi

The Marketing Intern should be available to work 16-20 hours per week when classes are in session and 40 hours per week when classes are not scheduled. A hybrid scheme is possible (split time: wfh + in office) and week schedules' are flexible.

Qualifications

The successful candidate shall possess strong written and verbal communication skills, shall be proficient in MS Office, proactive, ability to learn fast and not be afraid to ask, occasionally join calls with people in other time zones, and should be able to read basic engineering drawings. The successful candidate should have completed a minimum of 4 semesters towards a degree in Business, Design, Engineering or Marketing.
