Job Purpose:
The job purpose of this role is to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers .You will be responsible for achieving sales quotas and assigned strategic account objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments to deliver seamless services, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategies that align with the company's goals and the clients' needs.
Qualification & Skills Needed:
- Minimum 5-year work experience in technical sales and/or bachelor's degree in business administration, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Technical / mechanical understanding as well as market-oriented approach
- understanding of large and cross-country customers and markets
- Comprehensive understanding of value-based selling
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to envision a long-term strategic perspective and build trustful relationships
- Skilled negotiator with long-term sales experience
- Clear understanding of product portfolio and technical set-up
- In-depth understanding of prices and margins
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving aptitude
Willingness to travel and visit Global Key Accounts around the globe
Job Duties:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Develops policies and procedures as they relate to sales and our key accounts.
- Analyzes sales data to identify strengths and weaknesses of a particular accounts.
- Preparing quarterly and annual sales turnover forecasts.
- Provide monthly & weekly reports with comments on sales activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as they relate to sales.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers, new market opportunities and changes in demands.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Management and development of Key Accounts across product units
- Design and implementation of the Key Account strategy based on the Sales strategy
- Extension of business and profitability with existing and new Key Customers and fostering the establishment of business relationships with potential Key Customers
- Coordination of global ZA activities related to the Key Accounts
- Constant visits and communication with the assigned Key Accounts around the globe
- Assurance of the worldwide acquisition of new business with existing Global Key Accounts
- Provision of feedback and creation of transparency about Key Customers requirements (input for sales strategy and target achievement)
- Maintenance and cultivation of the personal relationship with the Key Customer
- Reporting on sales target achievement as well as responsibility for the budget and turnover of the Key Accounts
- Maintenance of knowledge and transparency about e.g., customer activities, , developments and decision makers (assessment of potential)
- Creation and dissemination of sales planning for strategic Key Customers
- Leadership in price negotiation for Key Accounts
- Calculation, creation and negotiation of technical and commercial offerings
- Collaborate with Technical Sales, Application Engineering and Project Engineering in customer discussions, meetings, and negotiations as required
- Establishing and managing a team of Project Engineers, Application Engineers and Local Key Account Managers to support the Key Accounts in North America
- Stay up to date with new product launches
- Coordinate & participate in all trade shows as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to sit for entirety of shift and work on computer.

- Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor.
