This position is responsible for identifying new business and maintaining current business with the automotive OEM & Tier I customers. This will include cultivating customer relationships, change management at source and business development.
Essential functions
Function as key contact person to customers
Identify and grow new business opportunities (new business or engineering changes to current business).
Retrieve information about OEM future launch programs.
Provide customer and competitor intelligence necessary to win business
Promote company as strategic partner to customers
Develop and implement quote schedule to meet customer expectations ***
Make quotations for new business RFQ and engineering changes ***

Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree, preferred
5+ years total experience in sales, flexible
Previous automotive sales experience with OEM & Tier I customers
Preferred education and experience
Automotive experience required
Plastic and rubber component experience preferred
