Job Description

As Global HR Platforms Advisor your main responsibility will be to design and implement the institutional digital HR platforms roadmap (global platforms, applications, and tools) and governance across CEMEX regions. You will be responsible to manage the simplification/integration of existing HR systems, execute system enhancements, deploy new functionalities and modifications. In addition, you will define and monitor the governance model which includes helpdesk support schemes, internal controls, and adherence to global standards and local law requirements. The position requires establishing close partnerships with other CEMEX functional areas and third-party vendors. Requires staying up to date on the latest HR technology trends and solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop HR platforms strategy & roadmap
  • Lead implementation of institutional HR platforms, apps & tools for core HR processes: Recruitment & Onboarding, WFA, Time management, Comp & Ben, Analytics , etc
  • Work with key business partners (HR Regions, P&IT, GES) to align on technology strategies and HR tech roadmaps, enabling the ideation and prioritization of new HR projects and operational improvements.
  • Establish and improve Governance and Support Models for our institutional platforms and applications
  • Define institutional KPIs to measure adoption and value
  • Monitor Institutional KPIs and goals, develop action plans to achieve those targets, promote adoption and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify, suggest, and implement technology improvements to current systems & processes.
  • Develop business cases jointly with our Processes & IT department, including pre-project estimations, project budgets & plans (costs, resources, timelines)
  • Act as a center of expertise on trends and innovation in HR technology, bringing new ideas to the business for consideration.
  • Define and implement a governance model & support structure to effectively prioritize and manage issues and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, to define requirements, specifications, and user stories.
  • Resolve HR challenges arising from the execution of the operational processes.
  • Prepare and present progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (interviews will be in both languages)

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office 365
  • Facilitation and presentation skills
  • Drive for innovation
  • Desired previous experience in Human Resources platforms (deployments, implementations & management) and project management skills.
