We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as an Integration Lead
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve IT M&A integration deliverables and address IT BAU support requirements during the integration period. - Work with Cognizant Corporate Development to identify the RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) in the M&A IT integration. - Coordinate with Technical SME to configure and deploy corporate network solutions supporting new build/image/application implementations. - In conjunction with the Corporate Security team, deploy Corporate IT and Security Essential Controls that safeguard both Cognizant and the acquired entity. - Represent Cognizant IT during recurring status calls with Corporate Development and internal leadership, preparing the weekly status on the M&A integrations. - Participate in IT integration workshops for newly acquired companies. Collaborate with multiple technology SME and business stakeholders. - Collaborate with acquired entity IT team members to extend Cognizant IT standards into the acquired company footprint. Act as advocate between acquired IT team and Cognizant extended IT team. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and associated templates to ensure technical integration activities are easily understood and consumed by end user community. - Develop standard communication plans and associated templates with support from Cognizant's Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to ensure technical integration activities are easily understood and adopted by end user community. - Investigate acquired company vendor contracts and understand the associated procurement needs and risks. Identify synergy opportunities in respect to contract consolidation. - Work with Corporate IT teams to assess and remediate vulnerabilities discovered in the infrastructure on time-to-time basis and fixing the noncompliance for desktops and laptops.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience with a similar role - Standard working hours required to North America business hours - Technical & functional skills to include infrastructure operations & engineering (covering two or more of the following towers: end user, hosting, network, security), application support (covering two or more of the following towers: Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Services), core project / program management capabilities, process design & management experience - Experience with multiple and simultaneous transitions; involvement with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, outsourcing; process documentation, process redesign and change management experience - Advanced level of English
