Ramos Arizpe

As a HEAD OF LABORATORY, you will maintain control of the e-coat lines and coordinate the technical staff for maintaining the e-coat machines in our coating services business for our plant in Ramos Arizpe. You will report to the Quality coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

• You will document data in the process control log of the e-coat machines, such as concentrations, temperature, ph).

• You will ensure correct preparation and adjustment of pretreatment and paint tanks by lab technicians.

• Inventory control and chemical use in oracle system.

• You will check the levels of all e coat paint line tanks and control and follow up the calibration program of the laboratory equipment.

• You will manage water conductivity analysis.

• In follow-up to EHS department, you will perform the disposal of hazardous waste and generation of permits for blocking and padlocking of heights and confined spaces.

• You will contact with production and maintenance areas to ensure that the conditions of the e coat process are in control.

Qualifications

• Education in Chemical engineer, industrial engineer or biochemist.

• More than 1 year of laboratory experience manufacturing area.

• Knowledge in ecoat and pretreatment.

• Basic Excel knowledge: format filling, graphics, formulas.
