We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our plant at EL SALTO.

Main activities

• Ensure that the area in charge within the process group complies with the standards defined in the plant quality system (indicators, continuous improvement, safe launches, quality costs, communication with customers, etc.) and also perform the function customer representative to keep the system current in relation to the general and specific standards of the automotive industry..
• Ensure that the line under your charge works with the standards or procedures in the quality system.
• Lead the analysis, solution and verification of actions derived from non-conformities or incidents with the customer to provide responses in a timely manner.
• Know the application of safety launch in new projects and process changes.
• Manage statistical control

Requirements

• Engineering Degree.
• Know ISO TS 16949 standard
• English 70%
• Having had direct contact with customers
• Carry out validations and verifications of activities aimed at the robustness of the process (skill) of the areas in charge.
• +2 years of experience in the automotive industry (desirable)
• Knowledge in handling non-conforming product
• Use problem solving tools like Ishikawa, Brainstorm, FMEA, 6 SIGMA, etc.
