Role Summary
To act as a first point of contact for the HR Services Team and work with them to resolve day to day HR matters and provide guidance. In addition is focal point for the recruitment, training, and payroll teams, providing support to the onshore team. Actively lead in recruitment, performance management and general HR matters. Assist in the development and implementation of employment policies, process and practices as well as recommend changes to management.
Responsibilities
Oversee recruitment, training, and payroll in their daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
Provide guidance and mentoring for the development in general HR matters.
Lead for disciplinary and grievance matters when required and provide accurate guidance in line with current Employment Law.
Work with HR Manager for the recruitment of onshore personnel, liaise with IT department for onboarding topics and provide support inductions for new onshore employees.
Provide support with monthly Headcount reports.
Work with HR Manager to ensure onshore personnel who are off sick are being managed in a positive manner. Liaise with Occupational Health Service providers as required.
Conduct weekly rig meetings with recruitment, training, and payroll to provide guidance and resolution to queries being raised.
Planning for absence cover of the team.
Project work or general HR tasks as directed by HR Manager.
Attendance at HR Forums, for example IADC.
Support managers with promotions, demotions, and transfers.
Support with day-to-day HR matters/queries that are raised from onshore (ie. Sick leave, compassionate etc).
Support in maintaining accurate and up to date personnel files (paper and HRIS system).
Effective interpretation and application of HR policies and processes and communicating them to onshore personnel; initiate updates as necessary.
Any other HR generalist duties as directed by the HR Manager.
Support in verifying qualifications/documentation for ad-hoc personnel.
Support with recruitment events as required.
Maintain familiarity with Competence Management Process.
Provide support to the Emergency Response Team as required.
Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required.

Familiarise with Borr Drilling QHSE procedure to understand the responsibilities assigned to your position and comply with the same

You have the responsibility to report any unplanned event to your manager
Ensure you understand your responsibilities during an emergency and evacuation and participate in all emergency drills as required. This includes familiarise yourself with the safety plan for the work location, emergency exits, muster points, first aid equipment etc.
Waste should be responsibly sorted as per the recycling set up at your work location
You have the responsibility to keep your work area safe at all times
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification or extensive relevant experience at Company's discretion
Experience
Experience in general HR at an advisory level
Excellent communication skills: Fluency in written and spoken English required
Competent using HRIS systems and MS Office
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a complex, challenging environment to tight deadlines
Demonstrate commitment to Borr Management Systems and support initiatives for continuous improvements
Maintain confidentiality of Company and personnel information
Highly effective relationship building skills both internal & external; personally drive high performance and lead through example
Demonstrate a professional attitude at all times while dealing with a wide range of people in all communications (face-to-face, telephone and written)
Proficient problem-solving skills; demonstrate ability to evaluate problems from differing viewpoint and recognize potential root cause of problems (ie compliance, training issues)
Ability to work in a team, to influence people and generate enthusiasm
