Main Responsibilities:

As a Product Designer, you will be working at the Enterprise Technology and Engineering Center and will be supporting Design Engineers on designs of hydraulic/hydrostatic/pneumatic components routings while considering given design constraints, quality initiatives, cost targets and specification requirements for different product lines. You will support Design Engineers on project tracking, part ordering, issues resolution and experimental prototype builds. In addition, you will:

• Work closely with design, manufacturing, and cross functional teams to integrate new/existing components into new product programs.
• Contribute to a design from early concept, through a successful product production launch.
• Work closely with design engineers to develop and promote part geometry and drawings.
• Exhibit detailed knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Standards and can apply it to many varied situations.
• Perform as expert user of 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) system with considerable experience in Top-Down design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.

What Skills You Need:

• Strong English skills (speaking and writing).
• Product Design Engineering experience gained from relevant internships or work experience.
• Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
• Understanding of fundamental hydraulic engineering principles, able to read basic hydraulic schematics.
• Experience analyzing data and making sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to excel on a cross-functional team.
• Ability to handle adverse situations with a positive attitude in order to find successful solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high pace environment.
• Creativity and Innovation.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience creating Hydraulic or Electrical Schematics.
• Experience with Creo (Pro-E), PDM Link and SAP.
• Familiar with Creo Piping & Cabling.
• Familiar with Automation Studio or similar software.
• Familiar with iDesign or similar software.
• Experience in sheet metal design.

Education (or equivalent experience)

• B.S. in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aeronautical Engineering.
