We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function at our
Saltillo facility. The ideal candidate will be a passionate quality professional with a
strong background in ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and hands-on problem solving.
This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence through
effective quality planning, execution, and leadership, ensuring internal and external
quality performance meets company goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and maintain site-level KPIs including:
? Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
? Internal and External PPM
? Scrap & Rework rates
? MRB resolution time
? Warranty return percentage
• Lead root cause and corrective action efforts using 8D, Ishikawa, Pareto analysis,
and other tools
• Ensure effective CAPA implementation across departments and with suppliers
• Drive a culture of first-time quality and continuous improvement using lean
manufacturing tools such as:
? 5S
? Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
? Visual Management
• Champion the use and maintenance of Control Plans and PFMEAs across
manufacturing and supplier processes
• Oversee and continuously improve incoming, in-process, and final inspection
systems
• Develop and coach a team of quality technicians, auditors, and engineers to maintain
rigorous standards
• Support internal audits and prepare for external audits to maintain ISO 9001
certification
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain
teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
•Advanced English
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• 7–8 years of total experience in Quality or Manufacturing roles, with minimum 4
years as a Quality Manager
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and audit processes (certified auditor is a
plus)
• Demonstrated experience in lean quality tools: 5S, Ishikawa, 8D, VSM, Pareto,
Gemba, etc.
• Experience leading CAPA, MRB, and Supplier Quality initiatives
• Proven success driving improvements in PPM, scrap, rework, warranty, and COPQ
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills
Preferred Skills
• Automotive, aerospace, or electrical component manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 or APQP is a plus
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage
