About the Job:

As a Junior Buyer based in Mexico City, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of components used in the manufacturing of final products. You will support supplier development, manage purchasing activities, and negotiate procurement terms. The ideal candidate will evaluate supplier performance and help ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards, directly contributing to the efficiency and success of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all phases of supplier and product development.
• Proactively mitigate risks in procurement operations.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support the development of new and existing suppliers to enhance supply chain performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement efforts with company needs.
• Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries, and ensure timely supply of goods and services.
• Evaluate supplier performance through regular reviews to ensure compliance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and new products.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of purchases, contracts, and supplier data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, International Trade, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum English level B1 required; B2 preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel; experience with Syteline is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
