We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the start up of a new plant for a global leader in industrial component manufacturing. This person will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and product quality, driving innovation and continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Description

• Designing the plant layout, optimizing processes and material flows, and implementing machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Leading and developing the manufacturing engineering team, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented work environment.
• Implementing continuous process improvements and innovative technologies to optimize manufacturing costs, improve production flow, and reduce quality costs.
• Managing strategic projects related to manufacturing processes and the successful launch of new products.
• Identifying, developing, and implementing new capital investments aligned with the business's annual priorities and the plant's operational needs.
• Managing the SAP system to monitor production processes.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical) required; advanced degree is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in milling, machining, and/or assembly or similar industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in plant start up/line transfer projects, including training direct staff for long-term production support.
