Role Overview:

The Lead Business Analyst / Functional Architect will play a key role in shaping and continuously improving the Order Management System (OMS) platform. This individual will be responsible for designing functional solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring seamless integration with various sales channels and related systems. Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, this role focuses on optimizing order management and fulfillment processes through scalable and effective system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the functional architecture of the OMS platform to support current and future business requirements across multiple channels.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end OMS solutions and contribute to strategic roadmaps.

• Lead requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications.

• Work closely with technical teams (development, QA, infrastructure) and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of OMS solutions.

• Define integration requirements between the OMS and related platforms (e.g., e-commerce, ERP, CRM, warehouse systems).

• Identify opportunities to streamline order management and fulfillment processes, using technology to drive efficiency and enhance customer experience.

• Provide functional guidance and mentorship to other analysts and team members.

• Partner with external vendors on solution design, implementation, and ongoing support.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the OMS space to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

• 7+ years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Functional Lead, or Solution Architect, with a focus on order management systems.

• Proven experience designing and implementing OMS solutions in complex, multi-channel environments.

• Solid understanding of order fulfillment processes including orchestration, inventory, shipping, and returns.

• Experience with leading OMS platforms is a plus.

• Strong technical acumen, including understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data structures.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Background in digital or e-commerce settings is a plus.

• Experience with SQL and data analysis is an advantage.
