Summary of the Possition

Certify and release the product by supervising and monitoring the procedures established in the Workshop's operating manuals considering the required aeronautical standards by the corresponding aeronautical authorities, as well as monitoring the progress of the units that enter the Workshop until their shipment to the customers.

Experience & Skills

Graduated in Aeronautical Engineering or Electronic Engineering

Strong skills to lead a fast paced operation with a high volume product
DGAC/FAA Certification. ( Preference )
Familiar with ISO,QS, an TS quality certification or AS9100 ( preference )
Procedures skills related to PFMEA,AQP, 1st article procedures

Bilingual (preferably).

Main Resposabilities

Submit all technical and administrative reports required by the Aeronautical Authority.
Active participation directly in the verifications carried out by the Aeronautical Authority.
Supervise and oversee that the personnel complies with the functions and obligations established in this manual.
Notify the Aeronautical Authority about discrepancies that could put at risk the operations of its components, as well as for the company's personnel.
Supervise and oversee that the work is performed in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals and this manual.
Keep records of work, services, repairs, components and service bulletins are kept in accordance with the provisions of this manual.

Supervise and oversee that the parts, components and material used are those authorized by the manufacturer.
Responsible before the Aeronautical Authority for notifying it about changes or modifications to the technical scope of the Aeronautical Workshop, as well as changes of address and facilities.
Follow up and attendent quality audits results.
Keep training employees records for customer and quality audits is needed.
