Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive adherence and improvements in Branson quality management system across the Americas region, aligning with global quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and develop a team of quality professionals, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
Provide guidance and training to employees on quality-related processes, procedures, and standards to ensure a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Oversee and direct investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
Manage standard procedures, best practices and ISO & customer audits
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress towards quality goals.
Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of concern, improvement opportunities, and progress against quality objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall product quality.
Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and resolution of quality-related issues.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging regulations, and technological advancements in quality management, and recommend and implement relevant improvements or changes.
Perform any other duties or responsibilities as directed or assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in quality management roles, preferably within the manufacturing or related industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements applicable to the Americas region.
Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a team.
Willingness to travel occasionally to other locations within the Americas and Globally.
