Electrical R&D Engineer

R&D Product Manager

Your responsibilities

• Understands the key drivers for ABB in their own business/technology area to make judgments and contribute to results. Understands customer value creation and works to increase customer satisfaction.
• Leverages proficiency in their own technical area and contributes innovative and creative ideas to R&D activities. Applies their own innovative/creative ideas to create value and propose concrete follow-up and improvement activities/projects.
• Participates constructively in working teams for the achievement of common targets. Communicates and collaborates effectively on technical and general topics within/with other team(s) and management. Participates actively in relevant internal and external networks in their own area of responsibility.
• Documents work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. Writes well-structured and concise technical reports and/or scientific publications, for internal and external audiences. Shares knowledge and supports colleagues in applying the lessons learned to ensure timely and high-quality results. Provides consulting services to business operations and customers.
• Has overview of IP in own specialist area and develops project IP strategies. Identifies and manages risks in research and development (R&D) projects as well as in own organization.

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electric or related careers.
• Five years of experience in electrical distribution or distribution transformers.
• Knowledge in Electrical design products.
• Experience in leadership and projects management is desirable.
• Conversational English level.
