Job Description
In Danfoss we are looking for a Continuos Improvement Technician, Supports deployment and execution of the continuous improvement process and tools (Lean Tools, DBS, Kaizen Events, Kaizen blitz, Cost Out initiatives). Design and execute all infrestructure to support industrial engineer improvments to increase productivity and efficency. Support the CI culture thru recognition programs to increase the people engagement.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Encharged to mantain all plant visuals in good shape (boards, banners, charts) desing and develop in house.
- Evaluates and assess ideas program (Kaizen blitz), by promoting the program, supporting deployment campaigns, generating information to manage the system across the site.
- Conduct the New hiring CI trainings and lean minute deployment
- Lead 5S program to generate (5S Audit calendar, share scores by areas and follow up close action).
- Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
- Promote risk prevention/assessment and safety culture
- Support on Danfoss Bussiness System initiatives
- Ensure activities are in compliance with the QMS (ISO-9001 e IATF16949) and quality policy and also aligned with the strategic direction of the organization and business context.
- Ensure quality management system (ISO-9001 e IATF16949) requirements and resources are fully integrate and available within all business process.
- Any other activity that your inmediate supervisor designate
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic or similar.
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- 1 years of experience
- Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods
- Lean Tools (Pareto, SMED, Kanban, 8W, VSM, Takt time, Poka Yoke, Jidoka, Andon, administración visual, etc.)
- Manufacturing and Business Process
- Total Work System Knowledge
