Location: Based in Querétaro, covering operations in both Mexico and the United States

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for leading and implementing environmental, health, and safety strategies across two manufacturing sites (Mexico and the U.S.), ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards. The Regional EHS Manager will drive a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute regional EHS goals aligned with corporate and business unit strategy.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and Mexican EHS standards.
Supervise and support local EHS teams in both plants.
Develop and audit environmental and safety management systems under ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring follow-up actions are implemented.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to track EHS performance and propose corrective actions.
Coordinate internal and external audits, including client assessments.
Ensure EHS training programs are effectively delivered to all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with HR and Plant Leadership to strengthen EHS culture and accountability.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Sciences or related fields.
Minimum of 6 years in an EHS Manager role within manufacturing environments (automotive experience).
Proven expertise in OSHA standards and regulatory compliance in the U.S.
Experience managing EHS functions across multiple sites or within a regional scope.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success in driving safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (written and spoken).
Valid passport and U.S. visa are required (mandatory)
Availability to travel frequently between Mexico and the U.S.
