Sustainability Specialist

Objective

Responsible for the overall implementation strategy of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance roadmap, including work packages such as the DMA process, EU taxonomy, and data quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

· CSRD management: overall implementation strategy of the CSRD compliance roadmap, including work packages such as the DMA process, EU taxonomy and data quality assurance, gap assessment against the ESRS standard, definition of the action plan to mitigate the risk of non-compliance, the management of the assurance process and liaison with the assurance body.

· Double Materiality Assessment: develop, implement and maintain Nemak's double materiality assessment in line with CSRD requirements, prepare DMA results for the assurance process.

· EU Taxonomy: Implementing the requirements of the EU Taxonomy in collaboration with Finance ensures audit compliance of the process and results.

· Data quality management: Implement the digital ESG reporting tool, improve ESG data quality, and prepare for the external assurance process.

Position Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or related.

· Expertise in Sustainability Management and Sustainability Reporting GHG Inventory, Reporting Standards

· (CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD), ESG knowledge, materiality assessments, ESG ratings.

· Advanced English
