Position purpose: Maintain optimal inventory levels with the minimum necessary working capital investment and ensure an excellent service level across the entire plant and high inventory reliability.

Meet the requirements established for this position, maintain timely reconciliation within inventory modules, and provide prompt follow-up on operations.

Responsibilities:

15% RESPONSIBLE FOR RECONCILING THE INVENTORY MODULE FOR SUPPLIES AGAINST THE FINANCIAL MODULE (JDE) IN THE FOLLOWING WAREHOUSES: Spare Parts, Refractories, Raw Materials, Consignment, Packaging.

Prepare an aging analysis of other inventory balances to determine the reserve for obsolete and slow-moving inventory.

Reclassify spare parts inventory in JDE for the Controller: reports by inventory family.

Prepare inventory reports for SOX: rollover of other inventories, list of obsolete items.

Follow up on pending purchase orders.

Responsible for reviewing and monitoring reorder points for stock items.

Supervise semi-annual and cycle physical inventories.

Responsible for executing inventory integrity processes to ensure all operations are correctly recorded.

Responsible for managing Kanban inventories implemented in various areas.

Responsible for reviewing and creating new stock item records.

Maintain the item master data.

Responsible for the packaging warehouse closing process.

Responsible for the manufacturing closing process.

Supervision and follow-up of the receiving process for stock and consignment materials.

Provide inventory-related information for external audits and SOX.

Supervise and follow up on the proper recording of capitalizable materials.

Supervise the automatic invoice reconciliation process with accounts payable in the spare parts and refractory warehouses.

Monitor mirror process integrity procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree / Engineering Degree

Experience: 3 years of experience in managing and valuating inventories across different costing processes, materials management, negotiation skills, handling of purchase requisitions (PRs), and systems.
