Descripción

Position: Quality Manager

Location: Monterrey, Mexico.

Coordinate the resources of the engineering and quality area in order to keep all processes under the control of design according to corporate standards, guarantee the quality from the input of the raw material to its output, giving immediate response to the claims of the customers, looking for the root cause to correct the current fault, establishing strategies so that the same mistake of manufacture or use of the CM product will not be made again. Participate in the development of improvements and innovations in projects requested by the Management or proposed by Engineering and keep the operation in the best conditions of safety and hygiene, complying with any official Mexican standard that competes with the company and keeping the records before the competent authorities

Role expectations

Process experience preference: machining of bar stock (CNC milling and turning with more emphasis in turning)
Electrical more than electronics experience
Experience in end of line testing
Fabrication is a good plus... plasma cutting, welding on low volume high mix
Quality Systems implementation and management ISO 9000
PPAP Process: able to quality suppliers and internal processes
Heat treat experience is preferred (induction, carburization, hardening, stress relief, metallurgical lab testing for grain sizes and type, hardness, some plating experience for black oxide, nickel chrome,
Go no go gauge calibration and management, mainly for thread machining and verification
Interpretation of Product Drawings including GDNT
Need someone that is able to generate and implement the quality system and drive the culture
AQL / skip lot sampling of internal and external products/components
Problem solving and 8D proficiency
CMM, Metrology lab management experience.. faro arm, Optical comparator, Magnaflux testing
Able to set, monitor and drive Quality metrics such as first pass yield, cost of poor quality, warranty
Demonstrated experience in turning around quality performance
Assembly experiences using bearings, gears, machined cast iron housings, fasteners with controlled torque, snap rings, application of lubrication, wet and powder coating, surface preparation (blasting, washing), curing of wet and powder coating
Leadership style needs to be of a servant leader, working manager type
Process experience preference: machining of bar stock (CNC milling and turning with more emphasis in turning)
Material needs to be steel, cast iron, stainless steel, not aluminum.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:

· Negotiation, strategic mentality, human relations,

· Strong technical knowledge of all kind of hoists

· Effectively use information management resources

· Management skills for managing your area: Strategic and visionary

· Bachelor: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent completed.

· Solid MSOffice program management.

Required Qualifications:

· Degree: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial or equivalent completed.

· Solid MSOffice program management.

· Fluent communication in English

· Lean Activities

· Strategic Planning

· Working under pressure and customer requirements
