Main objectives of the position:
The Production Director is responsible for the overall manufacturing plant execution to achieve KPI indicators like SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost).
Establishes the strategy to standards on Production and to ensure quality of the products.
Lead the production to reach the levels of excellence in the performance in practices and production systems.
Define the annual production budget, ensure its adherence, allocate adequate resources, both human and machinery, to achieve monthly and annual sales and profitability objectives.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all production activities through subordinate supervisors.
- Ensure production goals are met with respect to cost, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Optimize human and material resources on the production floor, searching the Labor cost reduction.
- Collaborate with purchasing, master planning, and production planning departments for effective production scheduling and work order releases.
- Work closely with New Product Development and Process Engineering to ensure the timely introduction of new products and processes.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and manage inventory control on the production floor.
- Apply statistical controls and problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5 Why's to resolve production issues.
- Evaluate and implement improvements to automate the production process.
Qualifications:
- More than 8 years of experience, preferent in HVAC industry.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, or similar.
3. Proven experience in managing and controlling materials on the production floor.
- Demonstrated ability to manage personnel and optimize human resources.
- High English proficiency (conversational).
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, QS 9000.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, including kanban and Poka Yoke.
- Competency in statistical control and line balancing (time studies).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Bilingual 80% to 100%
· Experience in the position at least 5 years ahead.
