ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assure supplier compliance to the Supplier Quality Manual and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with the internal regulations, policies and code of conduct of Human Resources.
• Conduct supplier audits to determine capability of the manufacturing processes, quality system and ability to comply with specifications
• Develop Action plans with poor performing suppliers (based on SQ Scorecard or Audit result with critical findings).
• Lead the qualification and disqualification of suppliers.
• Assist in communicating Corrective Action reports to internal and external customers
• Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system that result in improved quality, increased customer satisfaction, and/or simplification of processes (Best Practices) to reduce costs
• Assist in the development of processes and procedures to ensure that safety, quality, and productivity
• Provide technical support for and continually review processes, equipment and related operations
• Support to QE with the interaction with supplier to submit PPAP documents for new product lunches to meet customer requirements including FMEA's, process flow diagrams, control plans, gauge R&R and capability studies (Support PPAP and approval Level 5 when is need it)
• Knowledge of systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, to assist resolving quality issues
• Assist in preparing work instructions, procedures and other quality system documents.
• Training to suppliers in technical processes when needed
• Follow up of monthly supplier metrics (OTD / PPM / FTQ)
• Review of suppliers' metrics sent by plant for Supplier Development Plan
• Establish an audit agenda based on supplier scorecard results
• Assist the manufacturing plants with supplier visits / meetings when a major / critical / recurrent problem takes place
• Develop / Maintain Supplier Best practices log for supplier sharing.
• Assist on supplier contacts update
• Add CQIs Audit to Automotive suppliers
• Run and Rate Validation, critical components
• Component / Engineering Changes validation and follow up
