We Are Looking For: Data Scientist Engineer | GDL Hybrid

Skills and Qualifications

- BS or MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field

- 1-2 years of experience working in data science and/or engineering programs

- Experience with programming languages including R, Python, SQL, C#, databases, Html5, and JavaScript

- Familiarity with data visualization tools for presentation of analytical findings

- Familiarity with various data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark

- Knowledge of databases and operating systems.

- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge in clustering, regression, and probability distribution

- Proficient in statistical analysis, and data mining

- Able to remain an efficient and analytical problem solver even when faced with challenges

- Motivated to pick up and practice new techniques and technologies

- Possess forward-thinking orientation and are sensitive to business needs when generating insights from the data or customer requests

- Experience processing, filtering, and analyzing with large quantities of data

- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with several ongoing concurrent projects

Your role in action:

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams, develop statistical insights, software design, coding and build machine learning products for business problems

- Understand, analyze various large data sets in the Machine Learning (ML) platform, design, and report on A/B tests for new and modified ML algorithms

- Work with Senior Data Scientists and other engineers to review the results and engage in developing and deploying using agile practices

- Gather information from consumers about program functionality

- Developing and executing unit test cases

- Partner with data engineering teams to develop and deploy models or functionality in production

- Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.
