In this market where we have built an incredible team of employees and today, we are excited to be adding a Director, Operations who will lead the day-to-day operations at our contracted manufacturing facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. The incumbent will lead and mentor the entire contracted operations team to drive performance as well as focus on continuous improvement to contribute in the design, development and execution of an operating model, product on-time delivery, Quality, New product introduction (NPI) and scrap, among others. This is an onsite role.

What You'll Do for Us
Prepare a manufacturing operations budget along with short- and long-term operations strategy in line with site goals and objectives. Responsible for managing site operations budget.
Lead and/or support capital and OpEx projects.
Lead all site quality assurance activities.
Lead all engineering change (ECN) management process and implementation with contact manufacturer (CM).
Lead Quarterly Operations Review (QOR) with CM.
Prioritize operations urgencies and drive excellence.
Review daily & weekly production plan and using knowledge of equipment capability and capacity to ensure proper target is met.
Provide direction and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and procedures.
Manage plant KPIs - standard labor time, cost, quality, OTD, equipment uptime, material liability etc.
Verify that all equipment is in good working condition and all preventative maintenance is being performed on a scheduled basis.
Evaluate and measure performance of supplier using applicable performance metrics to ensure quality, service, efficiency, and delivery to specifications as set forth in agreements.
Support NPI manager is launching new program on time and on target.
Participate in the ISO, UL, and any other internal audits and own the actions to drive improvements for development of procedures and corrective actions.
Support material team in activities related to bringing components on time for builds (Clear to Build - CTB).
Generate daily/weekly production/risks report for TCCC Equipment Center.
Travel to other TCCC equipment manufacturing sites and to suppliers in as needed, within and outside Mexico.
Perform other duties as necessary and/or assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
Fluent in English and Spanish are required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering is required. MBA is preferred.
8+ years of manufacturing program management experience.
Experience managing people /budgets, with 5+ years supervising manufacturing staff preferred.
Leadership experience within complex and advanced electro-mechanical-fluidic equipment manufacturing facilities.
Experience working under manufacturing operating models based on KPIs, Continuous Improvement tools, Quality Tools and Gap Closure Action Plans.
Ability to implement and manage TQM and Lean Manufacturing principals
Computer and database application skills and strong working knowledge of LWM - windchill, Agile etc. is required.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Full fluency in both languages.
Ability to understand, record, and communicate material and product information and communicate across all levels. Ability to meet production schedules with shifting priorities.
Detail oriented with a passion for leading and managing multiple projects. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Know and follow all Goods Manufacturing Process (GMP), safety, attendance, and rules of conduct guidelines.
