To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Operations Director, Production Manager role involves guidance and coordinate activities of employees engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guide department activities to hold up design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and helps on test procedures.
• Execute and provide input to functional plans and objectives for the site.
• Create functional processes or technologies
• Explore technology trends and market demand to plan projects.
• Contribute with management, production, and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Partners with team and management in the development of the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function.
• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Accountable for controlling manufacturing operation and ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met.
• Working in extremely complex problems where the research of situations or data from an evaluation of intangible factors.
• Reviews budgets and schedules required by management
• Regulate relations with the executives and/or major customers to maintain relationships with them.
• Resolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading management levels for the achievements of the plant.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

• NPI experience

• Advanced english

• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.

• Product Engineering experience within electronical components.

• Extensive knowledge in mechanical fabrication processes (punching, bending, stamping, welding, insertion, painting and mechanical assembly).

• Product Engineering experience within the metal-mechanic industry.

• Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile)

• Extensive knowledge in specifications and standards related to metals.

• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.

• Experience in ECO's implementation.

• Knowledge in creation and reading of Bill of Materials (BOMs).

• Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).

• Knowledge in specifications and standards related to metals.

• Experience in BAAN system (SAP).

• Decision maker.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret MPI.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Systems integrity.
