Educational Prerequisites

• Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Systems, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering. Master degree /PhD preferable
• Advanced English - TOEFL min. score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).

Technical Prerequisites

• Automotive knowledge or industrial background (3-5 years, desirable).
• Applicable engineering and physics knowledge.
• Experience in managing product requirements.
• Understanding of the automotive powertrain.
• Knowledge of functional safety (risk analysis, DFMEA) of mechatronics systems (desirable)
• Basic understanding of steer-by-wire systems.
• Knowledge of the Product Development Process (A-SPICE, desirable).
• Understanding of modeling and simulation of mechatronic systems (MATLAB/Simulink/Enterprise, preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interpretation, analysis and internal communication of customer requirements.
• Use simulation tools, 3D models and spreadsheet calculations to ensure customer product requirements.
• Allocate requirements to system architecture components, testing and validation of systems.
• Functional calculations of mechanical interfaces, electric motors, power electronics, hydraulics, cooling, electrical wiring or actuation.
• Maintain Engineering change systems and follow-up implementation dates.
• Perform technical product meetings with customers.
• Update PTC Integrity & ADVP&R databases, review and manage system's KPIs.
