Job Description

• Quality representation for sourcing process of new and existing suppliers and components - Feasibility, Supplier Component Review (SCR), APQP, Run @ Rate, Safe launch, PPAP, Update BU APQP tracker.
• Disposition of QNs and provide feedback to suppliers in regards to required actions. Evaluate 8Ds from suppliers. Insure / coordinate containment activities with plant Las Colinas SQM.
• Visit supplier sites to ensure adherence to established controls and processes, review of corrective actions, and perform run at rates.
• Ensure proper assessments of supplier through KPI tracking, audit processes, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform and / or assist regular VDA audits of suppliers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Intermediate English
• 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment: Engineering, Technician, or Quality role
• Knowledge:
  • Electronics components
  • APQP, PPAP and AIAG
  • ISO and/or TS16949 standards (desirable)
  • VDA 6.3 standard (desirable)
• Skills:
  • Strong problem solving and communication
• Ability to travel 30-50% of the time (national and international)
