Descripción del empleo

• Quality representation for sourcing process of new and existing suppliers and components - Feasibility, Supplier Component Review (SCR), APQP, Run @ Rate, Safe launch, PPAP, Update BU APQP tracker.
• Disposition of QNs and provide feedback to suppliers in regards to required actions. Evaluate 8Ds from suppliers. Insure / coordinate containment activities with plant Las Colinas SQM.
• Visit supplier sites to ensure adherence to established controls and processes, review of corrective actions, and perform run at rates.
• Ensure proper assessments of supplier through KPI tracking, audit processes, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform and / or assist regular VDA audits of suppliers.

Requisitos

• Bachelor degree.
• 3 + years' experience in a Manufacturing Environment. - Engineering, Technician, or Quality role.
• Rubber & Compound components knowledge (Key).
• Detailed knowledge of APQP, PPAP and AIAG.
• Strong problem solving skills and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ISO and/or TS16949 standards. Knowledge of VDA 6.3 standard. Desirable.
• Ability to travel 30-50% of the time (national and international)
• English Level: Intermediate.
