Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the Planning, Inventory, and Quality Assurance (QA) departments within the Distribution Center. The role ensures the accurate scheduling and planning of purchase and sales orders, inventory accuracy, and compliance with brand quality standards. It also oversees the implementation of systems (e.g., WMS) and drives continuous improvement initiatives, SLA compliance, and cost-saving projects.
Scope of Position:
- Direct Reports: 4–5 ( QA/ Inventory Supervisor, Wave Planners)
- Indirect Reports: 35–50
- Key Internal/External Contacts: Supply Chain Managers, Sales Department, NORA Partners, Process Engineers, Processing, Outbound, and HR Supervisors
- Budget Responsibility: YES
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and schedules purchase and sales orders considering cancel date, request date, appointments, and SLA compliance by channel.
- Tracks and reports SLA compliance by channel, identifying root causes of deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensures QA department performs outbound audits according to brand standards, tracking audit coverage %, incident rates, and follow-up on claims/sinister.
- Ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root cause analysis, and reconciliation processes. Tracks inventory precision KPIs.
- Leads implementation and optimization of WMS and other systems in coordination with IT.
- Develops and reports KPIs for Planning, Inventory, and QA on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Leads cost-saving initiatives and special projects across departments.
- Manages coaching, development, and performance of direct reports in alignment with HR policies.
- Ensures compliance with corporate standards in safety, ergonomics, housekeeping, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborates with business units to understand growth projections and operational changes.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years in distribution or manufacturing, with prior management experience
- Language: Advanced English (B2/C1)
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in DC systems (FMS/WMS/DMS)
- Effective communication across all organizational levels
