Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer.

What you'll do:

Coordinate projects in all Gates required of NPD's, VAVE's (Cost outs), CAPEX, New technology - Equipment and/or changes (ECN's) to existing products.
Will serve as the customer liaison at specified periods in the life of the project, coordinate appropriate communication and documentation (both internal and external to the facility), provide direction and manage all aspects of the project and/or the program development.

Manages multiple new product development projects according to risk and impact his participation is required or is assigned by the Change Board from Plant Notification to Mass Production Start.
Delivers a flawless execution of Project / Changes major milestones thru assigning and monitoring tasks and deliverables to functional/operational areas.
Conducts meetings as required to keep project team and internal customers informed of status and associated risks
Assures project/change financials are met on respect profit plan/budget assigned.
Conducts internal program reviews to provide status to upper management thru Program Status Report - (Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones.
Facilitates the elimination of road blocks, risks, customer concerns and potential changes by managing resources, providing input and direction to program/project team and escalating concerns to upper management.
Lead and implement pull systems in manufacturing environments.
Monitors overall performance during all phases of the program(s) and develops and implements corrective action and recovery plans as required.
Validate initial BOM's against drawings for new launches & engineering changes.

Provide Engineering support to the Plant of current products. Keeps constantly communication with Engineering, Design & Product
Divisional Owners.

Qualifications:

Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineer, or equivalent experience required
• An understanding of Engineering, Manufacturing, Pull Systems and Quality Control Methodology, and +5 years of experience in project management is required.
