As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a servant leader and agile coach, supporting multiple development teams in the successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement of agile practices. You will help facilitate communication, remove impediments, and keep teams focused on delivering value within each sprint. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to promote agile values and ensure collaboration and alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide and support agile teams in the adoption and execution of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (Scrum).
Facilitate key ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Track team progress and performance using appropriate metrics and reporting tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure work is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
Remove obstacles to team productivity and help resolve conflicts or dependencies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and process optimization.
Mentor team members and other Scrum Masters on agile best practices.
Support agile maturity across the organization by promoting agile values and principles.
Coordinate across multiple teams and assist in scaling agile practices where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
7+ years of experience in technology or project delivery roles, including at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach position.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with practical experience leading multiple teams.
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in hybrid or distributed team environments.
Familiarity with tracking team metrics and using them to guide improvement.
Scrum or Agile certification is preferred.
