Objective of the position:

In this role the person will be responsible to lead a team of inspectors, team leaders and champions and align them to inspect and assure the best quality trucks to our customers. This person will manage their time in kronos and solve the issues that personnel could have. Other activities are: to provide feedback about issues found in any Quality Feedback Loops and work in find the root cause in all quality issues, always working with other team in the plant such as production, materials, MRG and in same quality department. Solving quality issues with PPS tool PDCA, PRT and A3. In this position is expected to work always with Safety first and accomplish the targets such as BEST, near miss, 1st aids & record Tables accidents, have in control other metrics from the SQDCME. Supervise and execute the inspection processes carried out by the team of inspectors. Using the TOS tools and principles.

Main Functions:

- Assure the inspection of product to verify that accomplishment of quality standards through the team assigned. Develop people threw mentoring and coaching. - Suggest and lead quality activities that improves the process and help to eliminate quality issues from the root cause. - Lead CI projects looking to reduce wastes in the area and improve the inspection content in the QG's. - Provide support and surveillance to assure that TOS requirements are meet according with the KPI's from the SQDCME assignee in the QA TIP. - Facilitate the time and resources for employees to take trainings and implement improvement ideas to impact positively in the Quality inspection process.
