Site Reliability Engineer

I'm looking to recruit a Site Reliability Engineer, to join a cybersecurity organisation, who are utilising AI/ML to build cutting-edge enterprise security products at scale. With a global team and millions of users, this is your chance to work at a large scale and make a significant impact.

Your role as a Site Reliability Engineer will involve taking ownership of their flagship product, ensuring it remains the most secure, resilient, and high-performance solution in the market. They prioritise availability, and your expertise will be crucial in achieving that.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining top-notch performance and productivity for their development teams.
• Take full control of their cybersecurity systems, striving to enhance performance, quality, security, uptime, speed-to-deliver, threat detection, and customer engagement with every release.
• Gather improvement ideas from customers and the internal community, using metrics to prioritize and make rapid decisions.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in high-scale, high-uptime, and high-reliability environments using Python, JS/NodeJS, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of Rust is a plus.
• Use of cloud technologies such as AWS & GCP
• Hands-on experience in related roles, such as engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, including queue-first architectures and sharding.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, attack vectors, botnets, and impact analysis a nice to have.
