Ford Champs program will allow to get to now different business areas through 12 to 24 months, while you improve your skills and become a better professional.
ResponsibilitiesPosition Responsibilities - Support the development of new features at the systems engineering level from early feature development to production.
- Candidate must be on site at least twice per week for activities.
- Execute a Systems Engineering approach to new feature design to meet customer needs.
- Work with wiring and power distribution topologies / schematics / block diagrams
- Support the development of feature specifications, feature Failure Mode Avoidance documentation, feature verification plan, etc.
- Review existing system designs to find new opportunities for cost or quality improvement.
- Develop relationships with cross functional teams and supply base to learn about the latest technologies and possible implementation.
- Analyze complex cross-functional systems and propose innovative solutions.
- Support complex systems, issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize connected data & data analytics to develop a deep understanding of the customer.
- Participate in the FDRG process to improve DFMEAs of Vehicle Features.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications - In process to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
- Strong learning agility.
- Systems thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex issues.
- Advanced English Skills.
- Emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offs
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
- Basic functional knowledge about electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc.
- Electrical Systems Engineering experience.
- Electrical D&R experience
- Electrical testing experience
