About the Role - Implement, Supervise and coordinate all operational activities of the company in LATAM, including production, supply chain, logistics and distribution.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and monitor operations plans, ensuring that deadlines and established quality levels are met.
2. Implement methodologies and tools such as Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement approaches.
3. Implement quality control processes and take corrective action when necessary.
4. Provide direction, guidance and professional development to team members.
5. Visibilize required improvements to the operations process to improve its efficiency.
6. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs in the production and supply chain.
7. Manage the flow of materials and components from suppliers to production, ensuring that there is sufficient inventory to maintain constant production and avoid interruptions.
8. Manage that products meet established quality and safety standards.
9. Manage the import processes of the products.
10. Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure production feasibility.
11. Collaborate closely with other departments such as commercial, marketing, finance and human resources to ensure smooth integration of operations with other functional areas.
12. Prepare periodic reports on operational performance, KPIs and relevant metrics.
13. Keep abreast of trends in the automotive industry and seek opportunities for improvement in the automotive industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline.
- 8 -10 years of relevant experience in Operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
