Job Summary

Reporting to the Global SVP of Operations, the VP of Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all manufacturing processes. This role will lead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, lean methodologies, strategic leadership operations management, strategic planning, and change management, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. This position operates in a Matrix organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Drive accountability for all results related to global operations.

• Participate in the development of strategy and operating plans for the business.

• Create accountability for implementation of all business plans and deliver results.

• Co-ordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth and profitability.

• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.

• Coach and mentor Operations team.

• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.

• Drive accountability for all results related to operations.

• Create accountability for implementation of all business plans and deliver results.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and industry experts developing a strong pulse on the market landscape.
• Influence change management through collaboration and metric management.
• Innovative solution design creating best in class results through continuous improvement.
• Overseeing 2 large sites.

The experience we're looking to add to the team:

• Typically requires 10+ years of manufacturing experience. Typically requires at least 7 years of management or supervisory experience.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on business excellence and continuous improvement.

• Proven track record of leading successful operational improvement initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; certification
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline. MBA is strongly preferred.
• P&L Management experience
