The Purchasing Supervisor will lead and coordinate the procurement process by ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials, equipment, and services at optimal cost. Oversee supplier negotiations, assure purchase orders on time deliveries, and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals while fostering vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with internal policies and budgetary guidelines

Candidate Skills

· Must be 100% fluent in both English and Spanish

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years as a manager/supervisor in Purchasing.

· Proven success in negotiations, supplier management and material sourcing.

Main Functions

• Lead and manage the purchasing team by planning and supervising their activities, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support the successful achievement of procurement objectives.

• Assure adherence to established procurement policies and directives, ensuring fulfillment of targets defined by Plant Manager.

• Collaborate with requesting departments to define and prioritize supply needs based on operational priorities and organizational goals.

• Conduct supplier identification based on market analysis to source quality materials, equipment, and services that meet technical and budgetary requirements.
