The Architect, Email and Communication technologies (O365, Exchange), will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's email and collaboration platform using Microsoft Exchange Online and other related technologies.

Will also troubleshoot complex issues related to O365, will manage of the solution from life-cycle to research new functionalities and identify use-cases where the technology can improve business processes.

What a typical day looks like:

Monitor Evolution of Collaboration Solutions:

• Will be responsible to design the solutions considering the business requirements, integrations, licensing, governance, documentation and training to support teams.
• Plan the deployment and rollout to end users.
• Monitor solution evolution with new features and functionalities added and deployment to end-users.
• Research new trends in the market, run POC, tests and evaluations.
• Monitor lifecycle of solutions considering EOL, upgrade and migration plans.
• Keep main stakeholders informed on environment health.
• Define standards.

Governance of Technology Administration.:

• Manage license usage and define metrics and adoption.
• Define and maintain governance, admin permission.
• Optimize processes with automations.

Support Business Processes with Collaboration Technologies:

• Discuss and understand business requirements to implement solution into business processes.
• Discuss and provide solution of migrations and integrations during M&A activities.
• Keep main stakeholders informed on environment health.

Provide third level support for Collaboration Technologies:

• Escalation for Executive support and Operations, troubleshoot and quickly provide workaround on issues until permanent solution is defined.
• Escalation with suppliers.
• Documentation.
• Hand-over trainings.
• Knowledge transfer to operations.
• Help guide, mentor and train junior staff to support their development

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Knowledge of deploying and configuring Microsoft O365 and deep Architecture knowledge on email service focused in Exchange Online.
• Cloud solution design experience in Office 365, particularly Exchange Online.
• Be familiar with email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP), Active Directory, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field is also necessary to stay competitive as an O365 Exchange Architect.
• Strong understanding on Email service, mail routing, gateway, mail flow and security aspects of the service.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data captures and trace logs to resolve configuration issues of any service part of Office 365 suite.
• Troubleshooting complex issues related to O365, problem solving skills, management of the solution from life-cycle to research new functionalities and identify use-cases where the technology can improve business processes.
• Knowledge converting technical to non-technical to support UX team.
• Project Management knowledge
• Advanced English level.
• Preferably Experience with PowerShell scripting and Exchange migrations is also essential.
• Preferably Strong understanding of Active Directory deployment and configuration of Forests and Domains.
